BIG DILEMMA

Hello all. If you check my profile out, there's this sentence: debat (padahal pasti kalah) in 'interests' section. I wrote that two years ago, and since that I've never done a single kind of debate competition. At that time my definition of debate was when two people are arguing about something, based on their own opinions, ideas, or thoughts. And now in senior high school, I just latterly knew what is debate actually, and... debate is no longer one of my interests.

I'm in a big dilemma. Yesterday, Mr. Jay, came to the class, talked to Tafya, and 30 minutes later Tafya brought me and Michelle to Mr. Jay, and he just directly told us that he'd enrolled us into a debate competition in Diknas, Province Level, on Monday. As I said before, I'VE NEVER GONE IN A DEBATE COMPETITION. PLUS IT'D BE IN ENGLISH. Coommmeeee oooonnnn a debate?! In English? Me, do the debate thingy?! How would it be if an intimidated person go in a debate?! (Ok the term intimidated is just a simplest word the describe my, err well if you know me well you'll understand. It's not that kind of 'intimidated', no, but it's like... yea... ah whatever!) I'm just... too nervous and soooooo not confident and ready to face this competition. Do I have the capability to do this? I believe Michelle does, I have trust and confident in her, I'm just worried I'd be embarrassing myself in public on Monday. Dear God, please help me to not letting that be happen.

A big dilemma. Maybe I and Michelle could just tell Mr. Jay that we won't do this, because, well we don't think we can't... But how exactly?! Plus we have Mr. Sapto on Monday, he'll discuss the exercises he gave us today as preparation for a quiz on Wed, and we have Maam Anggun who'll hand out our retake. Actually I decided to not telling my Mom about this. But yeah, I just told her by phone, and as I expected, she's excited. And of course she didn't let me giving up and just walk out. Truthfully, I'm not ready and if I could turning back the time, I would tell Tafya to not mentioning my name when Mr. Jay asked her. There would be no problem right now, and I can just concentrate on my quizzes... and homework. *sigh*

I just need something to boost my confident. And maybe something that could help me to enrich my vocab and fix my grammar in a flash time?

P.S: Chelsea won their 4th UCL match last night against Spartak Moscow! The Blues cruise into knockout stages! Sooo grateful, and what a goal from Anelka from the 'impossible' angle! And a lovely one from Ivanovic that wrapped the match!

It's a draw in San Siro, AC Milan vs Real Madrid: 2 - 2. A late goal from Pedro saved Madrid, and the controversial one from Inzaghi saved Milan. Maybe his second goal was actually an offside goal, but this 37 years old male still has a speed like he's 27. He deserved the standing ovations and the MOTM tag last night. And hoo yah! Madrid goes to the big 16!

And so happy for the reborn of Gomez: hattrick in UCL! A very good improvement from him. Be consistent, Gomez, do not let anything barricade you to be on top form with Munchen. 0-4 against Cluj brought them to the knockout stages!

I Need A Proper Weekend

So. High school is much tiring than junior high. These months I have a lot of quizzes, homework, projects, retake and I have to spend my weekend to study or go to school. I really need a proper weekend.

Thank God Chelsea plays every Sat or Sun.

Lampard hasn't played -he already missed 10 matches! What's wrong with you?! Drogba only took 2 weeks to recover from his hernia surgery, why do you need more time?! Midfield is so empty without a creative play maker like you -we have Josh, I love him, but we need you.

Josh McEachran, you're gonna be a star. Please be consistent, loyal to the club, play hard, and stay cool! You are a talented young kid, the next Lampard maybe? I wish one day I could go to Stamford Bridge, a Chelsea match versus MU, Chelsea win the game, and you are the hero!

Last night Chelsea won 1-2 against Blackburn Rovers at Ewood Park. Such a tough game, we're lucky. For me the MOTM was Yuri Zhirkov! And Cech. He made some great saves, I rate him 8.5. If the goalie was Turnbull, well... err... no hope? Blackburn was playing nice but I thought physical battles were the main show. Thank you for Anelka and Ivanovic for your goals! Anelka is a jinx for Rovers, if I'm not mistaken he already made 11 goals in 15 matches against Rovers. And a headed winner from Ivanovic was superb. Thank you!

But Josh didn't play last night :( He's a good player, next star. Ancelotti said the same thing.

And I found this funny training video! Ashley and Ferreira, a 'couple'? Hahaha!

I really wish you get the best, Chelsea! By the way I heard some rumors about Schweinsteiger. It seems like Munchen have problem to extend Basti's contract, and it looks like Chelsea want him. Well, it'll be good for Chelsea if he joins, a replacement for Lampard in the future... But Josh? He's good and I think he should be in the starting eleven next season. Does Chelsea need him? Umm yes... Chelsea needs another AMF or CMF -Essien, Mikel, Ramires, they're DMF, right?- but I also love Bayern Munchen. Bayern still needs Basti. Well... Your right to choose the best for you, Basti. BUT PLEASE DO NOT JOIN MU OR CITY OR BARCELONA OR ANY CLUBS IN SERIE A, OK? And I think Real Madrid is not a good option for you too. So... stay at Bayern or move to Chelsea, please? :)

Ok, have to stop here. Err still have Chemistry homework and have to study Chemistry for retake tomorrow. Wish me luck!

Keep the blue flag flying high!

Signal?

Hi all. Have a nice day?

For you who lives in Jakarta, be patient! Yes the weather is so weird these days -one day the sun shines so brightly and the next day the sky is crying heavily. And when the Jakarta is showered by rain, usual troubles come: horrible traffic jam, flood everywhere. Last Monday was an awful, a nightmare for everyone. Workers, not only you who had been stuck for hours because of the traffic jam and flood, but the students had a bad day too! A very clear message to Foke -Fauzi Bowo: Dear Mister Governor of Jakarta, what would you do to fix this? You gave us promises after your previous promises to help us fix our main problem: traffic jam. And please don't blame the "unpredictable weather".

And for those who live in Magelang/Jogjakarta, stay strong! Especially for those who live so close with Mt. Merapi, and have to be evacuated. My deep condolence goes to the journalists and other people who had died because of the hot volcano clouds and the ash rain yesterday. Be strong, keep tough, and protect each other :)

For those who live in Mentawai Island, be strong :) My deep condolence goes to all the victims there. I know it's so hard to see your homeland had been destroyed by the tsunami waves, and lost family members. I know it's not easy but all of us, have to move on, right? Be grateful, if you're safe from the disaster, and again, keep tough, be optimistic! To build Mentawai after this is not easy, but hey together we can!

For those who live in Wasior, keep tough! And again my deep condolence goes to all the flood victims there. In my head, the Papuan stereotypes are brave, full of spirit and unyielding. Let's move one, build a new Wasior after this huge flood. Stay strong, together we can :)

Dear everyone, let's send our pray, help our friends out there! Even just a little, but that means a lot for them. Food, clothes, mask, anything, to keep them live safely and properly after the disaster that they had experienced.

Dear DPR, instead of sending your members to Greece or Italy or Japan or Canada or anywhere, it'd be better if they're sent to the catastrophe area.

Dear everyone, Merapi eruption happened right after the tsunami in Mentawai, and that tsunami happened after the flood in Jakarta, and that flood happened after the huge, flash flood in Wasior. Signal? Signal that all of us have to take care the Earth -Indonesia specifically- more seriously? Nature couldn't be blamed -how could we blame the nature if our own self have done so many bad things to them? Signal that we have to concerned more about the environmental damage?

Signal that we have to check our own self, to fix our bad habit -damage environment- start from now?

Pray for Indonesia.

P.S: I've received my official IGCSE Certificate! So happy!

Next exam: As Level. Higher stage means work harder!

DNA Replication Song

Hi! Long time no see! So, a quick post! Just wanna share the video that Ma'am Tyas had showed to class last week: DNA Replication Song! I think it's someone's Biology project about DNA replication, and it's fab! Maybe I should memorize this, it helps! :D

DNA Replication Song
*Background Instrumental: I Want It That Way -Backstreet Boys

Deox / y-ribo / nuclei / ic-acid / is made from two strands, a double helix

So then, the strands come apart,
Nitrogen bases, they start
to unzip
By DNA helicase

H2 bonds
Between adenine and thymine
H2 bonds
Between cytosine and guanine
H2 bonds
The ladder structure is strongest in
Phosphodiester links

D-N / A Pol-ym / er-ase
Builds the new strand
From the / 5" to 3"
Direction

H2 bonds
Between adenine and thymine
H2 bonds
Between cytosine and guanine
H2 bonds
The ladder structure is strongest in
Phosphodiester links

Now I can see that its replicating
In a way thats quite interesting (YEAH!)
No matter the distance, the leading strand
Is followed by the lagging one

Finally...the ligase
Seals up all the breaks
A new....a new....a new....DNNNNNNNNNNA!
And it starts again!!

Oh, how I love bi-olo-gy (yeah yeah yeah)
It's better than chemistry
And next time I have to go pee (I know)
what's happening inside of me

Actually I found more DNA replication song videos but this is the funniest!

Tick Tock
