Hey... It's been a long loong time since I posted my last post. A lot of things happened... Most of them were tiring. I'm just sooo tired right now...
I love seeing sky, especially at night. Unfortunately here, in Jakarta, it's impossible to see so many stars clearly :( When I opened Ma'am Prima's blog (here!) and read her post about Ketep Pass, I suddenly remembered about the beauutiful sky I saw in Magelang. The stars were sparkling sooo bright, and there were so many of them. It's just like there's a person poured a glass of milk in sky.
And that was 2 years ago. I just want to go back there... Only to see the stars. Or anywhere else where the sky is perfect. In fact I planned to go to Bosscha Observatory this December but when I checked the schedule for night visit, the program for this year has ended last October :( Again, I have to postpone it until next year (hopefully). And then I want to have my own telescope. The real one. No, it doesn't have to be like the one in A Walk to Remember, just a simple one, as long as I can see Jupiter. I want to buy one... but after I searched in Kaskus it costs IDR 17 million. Ha. Then my friends told me that there is telescope in ACE Hardware, and cheaper, well compared to the one in Kaskus! It only costs IDR 500k. I'm interested, but haven't got time to check it out. But I'm kinda interested to try make my own telescope. I already found a tutorial how to make it, but it seems sooo complicated hahahaha I do need help!
Soooo because I can't see stars now, I'm just pleasing myself by looking at pictures of stars. I'm happy that there is a website The World At Night where a lot of amazing pictures of sky are compiled... I'm always getting better from my bad mood after seeing those pictures :)

The title of this picture is Heavens Above The Ale's Stones, photographed by P-M Heden. This shot was taken in a mysterious Ale's Stones area in Sweden. Check out Heden's gallery here.

The picture above is titled From The Bottom of The Grand Canyon, photographed by Wally Pacholka. I really like this photographer, his work is amazing! Check out his gallery here.

Another favorite! It's William Herschel Telescope in La Palma, Canary Islands. You can see that this telescope was prepared to discover the deep cosmos above it! It's photographed by Babak Tafreshi, my another favorite photographer. He's still young, and actually is the founder and leader of The World At Night. Check out his gallery here.
All of the pictures above are from TWAN website. Just go the website and explore the beauty of night...
